Many of the comments here are about the film "The Promise" not this one - a slight difference in the title but an important one to note - "A Promise."

Couldn't watch it--the tedious love triangle that prefaces the meat of the movie was too long and boring of a preface. Probably better to get your history from a history book than a fictional movie anyway.
