I liked this Sci-Fi DVD. It is not appropriate for children. There is a lot of violence. I like the whole series. I like the whole series for "The Hobbit" and "The Lord Of The Rings"

Am I the only one who wanted Eowyn to put a lip-lock on poor Grima? Brad Dourif`s portrayal broke my heart.

Ugh this trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart. While I can't pick a favorite, this one is near and dear. The bond between Frodo and Sam, the sweeping shots of tundras and mountainscapes, the music. It's near-perfect.

This one might just be the best of the trilogy. FOTR doesn't have enough action, and ROTK has too much, but this one is just right. Helm's Deep - it is the funniest battle ever, with Legolas and Gimli's antics. The Two Towers has some of the best scenes. The only things I don't like are the odd dream romance between Aragorn and Arwen, and Elrond's receding hairline. According to the Hobbit he is "as fair in face as an elf-lord . . . and as kind as summer." Elrond just isn't quite true to the book.

the greatest movie trilogy ever made !!! Viggo is the rock that this movie is built upon he is mesmerizing. And the love story between him and Arwen is pure magic. Epic of all epics >>>420

Good Movie...have to watch this if you watched the first movie! Going to love it. This movie has some dramatic effects. So not really for little kids. Here is a hint that will tell why this movie is a little scary: Gollum.

Very much plot driven, with little or no character or relationship development. An action film in a fantasy.

I still think fellowship of the ring is better. If only the ents (trees) attacked saruman earlier.

(Best part: Legolas and Gimli are standing right behind Aragorn, so, it makes you wonder...)
