When the desirable Thatcher Smith, owner of Nantucket's hottest restaurant, is the only one to offer her a job, she wonders if she can get by with no restaurant experience. Thatcher gives Adrienne a crash course in the business...and they share an instant attraction. But there is a mystery about their situation: what is it about Fiona, the Blue Bistro's chef, that captures Thatcher's attention again and again? And why does such a successful restaurant seem to be in its final season before closing its doors for good? Despite her uncertainty, Adrienne must decide whether to open her heart for the first time, or move on, as she always does.

I enjoy this author's writing; she's a great storyteller. I was sucked into this book, just like all the others. Liked the plot and the characters.

I have read all of Elin Hilderbrand's novels but this was one of my favorites. I also love cooking so this one was especially interesting...It gives a good look at what it is really like working as a chef or sous-chef in a popular restaurant. Not something I would like to do, way too much stress.

A very accurate description, lingo and all, of behind-the-scenes high end dining and a touching, different love story. Great reading!

Great book....the author is very descriptive...I can almost taste the food in the book! Good story...a wonderful love story.
I didn't like the way the book just ended without giving us more of the two main characters. But that is my only complaint. Finished this book in 2 days. I highly recommend it.
