This film was hard to locate when it appeared in the theatres way back when. Gurdjieff was an interesting man but not as unbiased as one might hope he would be. Check on the books of Bruce Chatwin who is some ways reminds me of a more modern Gurdjieff.

I checked out this film years ago from the library and glad they have restocked it. It's a very inspiring and haunting film in some ways with great music. Now that I know more about Sufism and Gurdjieff's travels I look forward to viewing this again with new eyes. Thanks WCLS.
