Give this a miss. It is horrible. Bad acting. Bad story line. Bad dialogue, you name it. There wasn't one redeeming quality about this show.... ANYWHERE! They even botched the nudity scenes using women WELL PASSED their sell-by-dates that were horribly out of shape, showing lots of cellulite, fat, and wrinkled up flesh... And that was supposedly their notorious "Hot Chick". I had a hard time watching just the first episode, The Pilot. But I tried to give it a chance and watched the rest of Disc 1. What a waste of time that I'll never get back. And if you're into Harleys you'll be let down in that area as well. The only shot of a halfway decent bike is just one quick pass at the side of the screen of one in a display case at their club house. But you don't even get to see a view of the entire bike as the cameras are following the lead character as he walked down the hall. This has got to be the worst show I have seen in over 10 years. What was I thinking to take out this piece of crap???

I have highly anticipated watching this show, since I heard it was coming on the air several years ago. I'm glad I waited til a few seasons were on DVD because I loved it so much I cannot imagine waiting through the off time to get another fix of it. Its a fantastic, realistic depiction of the type of "biker gang" life that happens in smaller towns in North America. Well rounded, easy to love & hate characters. Easy to sympathize with Jax/Jackson (Charlie Hunnam) and even easier to love his tough as nails mother Gemma (Katey Sagal). Entire cast is well done, especially seeing show creator Kurt Sutter in the minor, uncredited role of Otto.

Excellent. Highly recommend! Nice to see a Canadian - Kim Coates - playing a necrophiliac killer with such skill and verve.

Great series. Like the Sopranos but outlaw bikers instead of the mafia, and less family drama

Violence: Gang related violence. Many gun fights as well as hand to hand combat, murders and some forms of torturing are used as well.

Coarse Language: Use of coarse language from almost every character, but within context. Not overly uses but not suitable for children.
