Feminist writer Agathe returns to France to help her sister, Florence, sort out their deceased mother's affairs. While there, Agathe decides to test the political waters and run in a local election. She also agrees to be interviewed for a documentary about successful women by two blundering reporters. As romantic entanglements, class resentments, and the uncooperative weather intrude, Agathe's life hysterically unravels, and the bumbling filmmakers are there to capture it all.

So much difficulty in watching it also...very slow development to where I got lost before it could develop... will let it be and return to my library.

Let it Rain... Let it on the shelf! :) Just kidding. Not my favorite movie by Agnès Jaoui, but better than other movies, of course. The previous comments made here on this movie are right, and helped me to see it in another angle.

Look on it as a trite study of misfits or watch it as a study of people who mean well but don't know how to deliver.
First time I watched it, I fell asleep.
Second time I saw it in a deeper light.

Shows how human or low profile we are behind our 'façade'. Humourously reveals little compromising and ridiculous gests, attitudes and behaviors which in fact bind all of us as a common trait.
