Nice easy read. Keeps you interested until the end. Very enjoyable.

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "This book is one of a series. Having previously read only "An Irish Country Doctor" I found this a disappointing read. It had little of the humor of the first book and the development of the supporting characters was weak."

Just as with the previous books, Taylor weaves his Irish magic for his readers to enjoy. It was a fun read-with warm and zainy charachers to boot, so I say.

I loved this book. It was a comical, feel good, a little sad at times and had some good twists book. It was about every day life with an eclectic cast of players. Set in a small close knit country village during the 1950's in Ireland. The ending was happy with an unsuspected event.
