The series has come to an end (or has it?). The Secret is out (or is it?). Has the Midnight Sun been disbanded, destroyed, exposed? Not exactly.

You’re frustrated, aren’t you? Well, so am I. After five books, after days of reading, there is no payoff, no resolution and no satisfactory revelation. The Secret is a dime-store joke, a villain dies but off page so there’s little emotional resonance and the story wraps up with a tired moral and a valedictorian speech that would have been better off being omitted altogether.

At this juncture, it’s difficult to tell whether this series ever has been meant for children. They’d be impatient with the moralistic tone of the last few pages and adults would be infuriated that so little has come out of so much. Morals are generally best left at the end of short stories not sagas. This is a long way to go for such minor rewards.

Great book!! A must read for all teens and some adults. Great style of writing by PB( as shown in all book of this series).

This series is one of the best I have ever read! The books are so interesting, and I love all the characters! I wish there had been more answers as to what happened after the book ends, but I guess that wouldn't really follow the whole 'secret ' thing in the series. And I liked how I could imagine my own ending, the way I want it. I thought this book was really funny at some parts, and I love how PB just interrupts the story randomly sometimes. This is a great book, and I can't wait for Bad Magic, and hopefully, there will be a few answers there. Probably not.

Great final book for the secret series!! except that it really leaves you hanging and now I'll bet I'm gonna be in this sort of funk until I find an ending I think would both make sense rap everything up and be as interesting as the real ending. And if by any chance you the person that calls himself pseudonymous bosh author of the secret series, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write at least one more book. You're just so interesting when you write these books I can't stop read "you have to stop this" in less than a day.OK back to you other guys reading this comment:great book totally read it it'a awe right epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT BOOK! P.S. The secret gets reveled in the next book " Write this book ". The secret is on the other side.
The other side of the road.

A pretty good book, part of a good series, but I agree: it wasn't as good as the rest of the books in the series and has a weak ending. Besides, the secret isn't even a secret! It's the same old joke that we all know! Why did the chicken cross the road!
I think it was like a lot of series: the author just wants to get it over with. They don't even care how much the readers dislike the book, because the author is done with it!
Really, you can do better, PB.

Cass nodded.
"To get to the other side, of course."
