Summary
Add a SummaryA down and out writer runs into an old acquaintance who, feeling sorry for him, gives him a pill that grants access to 100% of the brain instead of the 20% most of us are limited to. Realizing he can make large sums of money before the drug’s potent effects wear off, addiction quickly takes hold. Soon alarming side effects begin to appear, as do thugs out to kill him and his life sustaining supply starts to dwindle. Not bad; keeps your interest to the end.

movies not bad, not great either. the television show based on this movie was so much better. its just too bad CBS didn't agree, canceling after only one season, (ending with a cliffhanger too).
movie would be better if the story flowed consistently throughout. I found myself constantly wondering if I missed something ; or if the producers thought throwing in a handful of scenic views would distract me from the lack of a fully formed plot.
Bradley Cooper takes a pill to make him a good actor. It doesn't work.
Not exactly "adrenaline charged", as the box claims, but a very engaging film that moves along at a good, steady pace, with plenty of twists and suspense. Cooper is perfect in the part, as is Di Nero in his role. Well cast and well acted; an excellent film.
The story puts an interesting twist to the questions of true self and true ability. Another story about an athlete getting to the top with steroids wouldn't have been quite as suspenseful, nor quite as thought-provoking. But, you can ignore the questions and enjoy the suspense, if you like; it's a very well made film.
It had a very interesting plot. The only problem was the immoral/sexual content and the language and the taking of Our LORD's name in vain. Proceed with caution.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this thrilling action-drama. I knew very little, but I had heard Bradley Cooper's performance was highly praised. And I was very pleased. LIMITLESS was exciting, not exactly Oscar gold but certainly not an immemorable time-waster. LIMITLESS is about a man who has so much potential but it's buried deep. When an acquaintance from his first marriage reappears in his life, offering him a pill to be the best possible person he can be, the offer is too good to be true. Suddenly, he's stacked higher than he could ever imagine, capable of recalling every bit of info he should've long forgotten. He becomes a superman of sorts. But all is not as it seems. And with an impressive visual style that makes LIMITLESS accessible to the imaginations of its viewers, I was glued to the edge of my seat. Very much like getting to a theme park attraction inexplicably without a line, LIMITLESS may have flew under the radar but I genuinely enjoyed this entertaining thrill ride. Of course, I recommend it.

Love Bradley Cooper.
Story entertaining, good lead up to TV show
I thought the concepts in this movie were pretty interesting. Really made me think.
Between sci-fi and thriller; intelligently done, and Cooper, perfectly cast.
