Quite a good movie if you don't mind the fact there is not one likeable character. I thought it well acted and moved right along.

This is a movie I'd might recommend to my financial adviser and then check back to see if it has plausibility legs. Otherwise much made regards this being made (written, produced, directed etc) by women to which I say "bully for you." Will always see "Skylar" when Anna Gunn is on screen which isn't so bad I suppose.

Boring, dull, slow moving and pushes a not-at-all subtle "hidden agenda". Can't recommend this movie, even if free from the library!

This movie is a little above my head re the stock market big business, etc. But thought myself it was a really good movie. Very well acted by all the females. Watch the extras after the movie this is also interesting.

Move along. Nothing to see here. Equity ... a vacuous exercise in narcissistic hollowness.

A pioneer film on the female players in the universe of high stake investor bankers in Wall Street, financed, written and directed by women. While lacking the over the top testosterone driven master of the universe themes in "Wall Street 2010" and "Wolf Of Wall Street 2013" etc, there are plenty of back stabbing, money worshipping, insider trading ... plus angles of glass ceiling, old boys clubs, sexual harassment and motherhood. Glad to see Breaking Bad's Walter White's boss Skyler landed a good movie starring role.

An interesting film. Might be more entertaining for someone who understands (or cares) about the investment banking world more. It fell flat for me. The strong female leads kept me in it to the end though. I was interested enough in the making of the film to watch some of the bonus features. I think a documentary about female investment bankers would be more interesting.

What, you never been called by a headhunter before?
-Don't you know that's why they call this place "the departure lounge"? I'm the only sucker who's been here more than a decade.
-So why do you stay?
Uh... Well, it ain't for the paycheck.

You know as well as I do social media has overtaken the world. There's Facebook, there's Instagram,
there's Snapchat, there's Twitter... and if you are anything like me... privacy is the most important thing.
Knowing that nobody can get that information about you. That's the word. Security and safety.

John, I just don't want to make the wrong move here.
-Well, that sounds like fear. And that's not the same thing as instinct. You know why this business is a young person's game? It's the lack of doubt.
So you think I should keep it going?
-I'm not gonna tell you what to do, Naomi. But if the numbers check out, then it sounds like... what we're talking about is a rumor here. And rumors, they're the wild card. You can't control them. ...

Everyone likes to think their company's a unicorn.

... what's that thing that really makes you... want to get up in the morning?
-Well, for me, I guess, the simplest answer is... l like money. I do. I like numbers. I like negotiating. I love a challenge. Turning a no into a yes. But I really do like money. I like knowing that I have it. ... But I am not going to sit here and tell you that I only do what I do... to take care of other people, because it is okay to do it for ourselves. For how it makes us feel. Secure? Yeah. Powerful? Absolutely. I am so glad that it's finally acceptable... for women to talk about ambition openly. But don't let money be a dirty word. We can like that too.

You know what's weird about the whole privacy thing?
-What?
Half the world is paranoid and the other half's password is "password."
