As mentioned by others, this movie reveals how much of a predator Ray Kroc really was. He virtually stole the name and store prototype from the McDonald brothers, then didn't honor a handshake agreement for royalties between them.

Excellent film. Love Michael Keaton. Ray Kroc is an absolute @+&hole. Successful businessman, but he is downright cold. Great movie from start to finish.

The message of this movie is that Ray Kroc was a jerk. A compelling, if poorly directed, film about how Kroc, an only moderately successful milkshake machine salesman, turned McDonald's into a global force. According to this, he did it by ripping off the McDonald brothers and being a ruthless businessman. As played by Michael Keaton, he's a tireless salesman whose lack of actual talent is made up for by boundless ambition. The heart of the film is the fraught relationship between him and the McDonald brothers, who brought Ford-like efficiency to their burger joint and are eventually powerless to resist Kroc's vision. Nick Offerman and John Carroll Lynch are great as the brothers, and it's really the acting that keeps you interested. Laura Dern and Linda Cardellini are both underused. Usually a director of upbeat true stories like "The Blindside," John Lee Hancock can't quite find the right tone and has a weakness for peppy music and montages. Better than I thought.

Wow, really good movie. The birth of McDonald's kinda resembles how Facebook got started with Mark Zuckerberg facing off against the Winklevoss brothers on who actually owns the idea of Facebook. The results turned out to be the same. What can you say Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc was superb. Keaton is in the actor category of Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkin, and Meryl Streep. Guy can play any role. Yeah, there was once a time hamburgers were 15 cents.

A good movie which shows two proud, honest brothers that gave excellent quality and service lose out to what seems a low life salesman with the ethics of a street dog (sorry dogs) As they say been there don't it but never quite got the 'T' shirt...... Good movie

very good movie. interesting to see the cut-throat capitalism of business. we all know it's there, but it's portrayed wonderfully. michael keaton plays a great scumbag.

A very well done movie with impressive acting. The subject is informative, but I can't say I'm a fan of Ray Kroc after watching this.

Directed by John Lee Hancock and originally released as a motion picture in 2016, this 115-minute docudrama depicts the business life of Ray Kroc.
He says that the keyword of success is persistence.
It is interesting.
Everybody knows the word, but practising it and actually getting there seems quite difficult.

Ray Kroc: If I saw a competitor drowning, I'd shove a hose down his throat.
