"Darcy Cotterill, 30 and divorced, works at the Nantucket library during the day. She spends most nights in her backyard, gazing at the stars. She's on the brink of starting a relationship with a local carpenter, Nash, when she gets new neighbors for the summer, the most unexpected of whom are her ex-husband, his new wife, and step-daughter. As Darcy is drawn into the lives of her neighbors, she develops a crush on another vacationer, Clive, a musicologist visiting with his grandmother. Over the course of the summer, Darcy is driven to decide what she truly wants--is she over her ex? Will she choose Nash or Clive?"-- Provided by publisher.
Spending her days at the library and her nights stargazing and contemplating a new relationship, Darcy is unexpectedly drawn into the summertime dramas of three families, including those of her recently married ex, a situation that compels Darcy to consider what she truly wants.

Easy, summer read, yet intriguing... I agree with both comments below.

I enjoyed this book. It wasn't "great" or "hard to put down". All of this author's books are thoroughly readable and enjoyable.

Nancy Thayer is the perfect summertime read!
I love all her Nantucket books; her descriptions of the Island make me want to jump on a plane and visit......perhaps to not return?
In this book, as always, her characters are believable and loveable, and the plot, though predictable, moves along keeping the reader enthralled.
