I have read Ego is the Enemy and loved it. I read The Obstacle is the Way and loved it. I am reading The Daily Stoic and loving every days reading. Stillness is the Key I not only read and loved, but needed. Ryan really is a great philosopher of our time, always finding ways to imbue ancient Stoic teachings to modern day times and challenges. And he does so in such a timely fashion. Now, more than ever, is this book needed.

I would have to sit and pick it apart to share all of the ways in which it enriched my life, gave me new perspectives, or solidified a feeling I had. There is so much I take from this book and so much I will apply. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone. It is a book I will have a hard time letting go of but an easy time lending out. You need it and just don't realize it yet.

Stillness is within us all, and it's needed - desperately. Give it a shot and you might just find yourself more fulfilled, less anxious, less angry, more creative and ultimately more at peace, in balance with the natural world. I implore you.

Philosophy, history and opportunities for personal reflection! Stillness is the Key makes you realize that the topic of stillness can be approached from so many dimensions and is accessible to everyone and for free. So much insight and inspiration to connect to the present moment via Mind, Spirit or Body.
