This was a cute, feel-good movie. The music was good and there were some funny moments. I wasn't happy with the ending but it would be a good "background" movie.

Interesting movie which meets the unforgettable Beatles music, a romance and an unusual freak of nature. Oblivion of those unbelievable band songs makes a common person gets his dream. Predictable end. Feel good movie.

The world is a little scary right now. Yesterday is a lovely movie that offers 117 minutes of escape.

"Overall, I think Yesterday is super cute. I don’t think it’s anything to write home to your mom about but if you want something charming, light-hearted with good comedy and music, then this is a good movie to try."

A satisfying movie if you are a Beatles fan.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I was expecting a lot from this movie, but the bravado that I saw in the press just didn't show itself when I was watching it. There were like 50 issues with the plot and the ending was meh.

One of my favorite movies: great music (good renditions of Beatles songs), good acting and writing, and pacing was excellent. Heart warming and family friendly.

Love, the lure of fame and fortune, and a bad case of "imposter syndrome" are explored in this offbeat comedy about (what may be) an alternate universe where a number of familiar things (mostly pop cultre icons) have never existed. There are some brilliantly comedic moments, particularly with timing and the music-deaf parents. Be sure to watch the alternate ending where the main "joke"/premise gets flipped.

Not what I expected. . Did not watch to the end.

I have to admit that I felt unbalanced by this interesting film and I can't say that it's Bad, although certainly odd for a Boyle film as if something didn't quite fit and your left with the feeling "you've just come out of an three hour movie," to quote Jim Carroll and everything around you has suddenly changed while you've remained the same.
I watched the Special Features to see if Boyle might give some clue or Hunt's as to the oddly disappeared items in the film and perhaps an explanation though none was forth-coming. I did like the fact that he didn't make things perfect again in the end but I still felt a bit gipped and kind of aggravated wondering, "Where will the disappearing end? He just erased cigarettes and Harry Potter! "
