I have finished the book called, “Three Good Deeds” by Vivian Vande Velde a fantasy book. In this book the central idea or main idea is that Howard is the protagonist he lives in a village and in the village also lived an old had witch. One day Howard thought the witch was fake or couldn’t do anything to him like harm to him so he went up and taunted her. So the witch cursed him and he turned into a goose. People in the village tried to kill the goose but Howard was the goose! The only way Howard could turn back into a human being, unharmed is by doing what the witch told him to do and the witch told him to do three good things that’s why the title was named like that. But how can Howard do anything good if he doesn’t have hands and doesn’t speak so the villagers can understand him? Will he ever reach the witches goal?
