True life figures of the West in a film that will make them legends for generations to come. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" matches Paul Newman and Robert Redford in their best film roles together. Director George Roy Hill takes us from their early exploits of robbing bank and trains to their final destination of Bolivia. It is a wild adventure all the way because Butch and Sundance are being trailed by lawmen all over the West for robbing one too many banks. It is one of films greatest friendships. Wait till you see the type of courage they had when the going got rough. It won 4 Oscars and deserved even more. Simply put, this is one of the best westerns ever filmed and I hope it will be added the National Film Registry for Preservation!
