Born to Run

a Novel of Suspense
Aug 06, 2012SportyReader rated this title 1.5 out of 5 stars
Marginally better than his previous Jack Swytek novel, Last Call. There's some intrigue involving the president in a dark secret, which keeps you interested for close to half the book. That's when things implode and it turns into a run of the mill story. The funny thing is that Grippando started out writing the Swytek novels as courtroom thrillers. His last few have been anything but and this one is similar to When Darkness Falls, with a hostage situation. Stick to the first few books in the series...the last three/four have been sub par.
