A well-acted drama about a woman leaving prison after a 15-year sentence and the efforts she and her younger sister go through to make the transition. I was surprised at how easy the transition was, but perhaps that is partly because very little is mentioned of life in prison apart from long walks in the recreation area and being withdrawn. But apart from being told by her boss that she needs to be more sociable with her colleagues (who see her as standoffish), she integrates easily into her sister's family (including developing a closeness with the older daughter) and friends (they spend a weekend with three other couples in a country home). The emotional journey didn't quite make sense to me, but I enjoyed the acting, the small details, the attempts to connect, the use of light (in the extras, the director reveals the influence of painters such as Edward Hopper in some of his compositions). Enjoyable.
