It's hard to imagine a more unsympathetic person than Chris Kyle... I was really annoyed and often time quite shocked about the statements he was making throughout this book. It seems like that he just loved killing people and generally only cared about himself and what he wanted. If somebody disagreed with him - that was an a...hole. If he did something that maybe wasn't a very good thing - oh well, he's a SEAL, he can do it, because he's above everybody else... His general selfishness and ego-centered, war loving, 'savage'-killing aggressive attitude really ruined the whole book. I wanted to learn more about SEALS and war - but I mainly learnt about his very twisted personality. He has one positive side showing through this book: he seems very honest about just liking to kill other people (as long as Americans don't get hurt)... I guess for somebody like him going to war is still a better option than being let loose in society... A really disappointing book. Maybe it would be a better read for psychologists for a case study than for somebody who wants to learn about the war and SEALS...
