Hollow City

the Second Novel of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Firstly I feel disappointed with this book, it was not like the first one at all. It got darker, and it was plain irritating. The ending was annoying, as was the continually being captured. I think four times. It left me not wanting to read the third book. This book follows on directly after the first so i'm assuming the third will follow directly after the second. It seemed to have been written as one big book, but cut into three parts. I found it a hard read, no flow and it was a challenge to want to continue to the end! I was no closer ahead at the end of this book as I was at the end of the last book. Maybe a 5 out of 10.
