A family is quarantined together over Christmas, after the eldest daughter returns home from her time working as a doctor in an infectious disease crisis. Tensions arise, arguments ensue, secrets come to light ... will the family survive their week locked in together? Seven Days of Us is a easy, fun read you'll get through over a weekend. The story is told through the perspective of each character, which is always a useful plot device. There are some plot holes regarding this invented disease, Haag (assume it's a fictional ebola-like virus), that I found distracting and unrealistic ... but that's mostly me being picky. I wouldn't say this book stood out to me, but it was fine.
