"Singing In The Rain" should be selected as a National Film Treasure. {Maybe it already is) Directed by both Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly it remains known by all as a film masterpiece. We may never see such dancing on film like this again. Along with Gene Kelly, we cannot forgot the great performances of co-stars Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor. Gene Kelly of course found more ways to tap dance in puddles while singing the title song. That song alone was a big hit in 1952 when the movie came out. Donald O'Connor made dance history as far as I am concerned. His "Make Em Laugh" showed his acrobatic genius. Wait to you see what he can do while dancing, changing hats and doing back flips. I see that many patrons are waiting for the movie, and that gives me a good feeling. You still want to watch a classic movie like "Singing in the Rain". Thanks to KCLS for making the movie available to us all!
